Bruins Won't Move Subban

News: The Bruins have no interest in dealing Subban, cbslocal.com reports. "I could tell you this, I'm not trading Malcolm Subban," GM Peter Chiarelli said Wednesday. "He's young, a very good goalie prospect and I see him being a big part of our future. We have some goalie depth, but I can tell you I'm not trading Malcom Subban."
Analysis: The Bruins are said to be interested in acquiring Calgary's Jarome Iginla and trading for him would come at quite a cost, which is why Malcolm Subban's name is being brought up in trade rumors. In any case, while the 19-year-old Subban, selected 24th overall in last year draft, is probably two or three years away from prime-time, he is clearly viewed as a key part of the Bruins' future and won't be dealt at this time.
