Analysis: While Hunter is playing well this season with four goals already, this move takes some of the shine off Okposo's value, as he was previously playing on the top line with Richard Park and Mike Comrie. News: Sim has posted six goals and two assists with a plus-2 rating through eight games with the Panthers since being acquired from the Flyers.

Analysis: Center Joe Nieuwendyk, who saw Sim play a handful of games when both were with the Stars' 1998-99 Stanley Cup-winning team, called the 28-year-old a "good energy player" with "good hands around the net." Don't run out and pick Sim up just yet, he's still has never scored more than eight goals in a season (although he's at seven now). But watch his ice time early on to see how much Martin plans on using him -- especially on the power play. The Panthers have lost three in a row and they are the lowest scoring team in the Eastern Conference.
