Habs' Pateryn Competiting For Spot

News: Greg Pateryn is competing with fellow prospects Nathan Beaulieu and Jarred Tinordi for the final spot available on defense, the Montreal Gazette reports.
Analysis: Greg Pateryn is the forgotten defensive prospect as both Beaulieu and Tinordi were first-round draft picks. They've also played more games in Montreal than Pateryn, including postseason action. Pateryn offers a mix of Beaulieu's offensive skills and Tinordi's physicality in his own end, and was the best of the three with a plus-5 with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League last season.
