Sabres Send Ruhwedel To AHL

News: Chad Ruhwedel was one of 11 cuts the Sabres made on Friday.
Analysis: Chad Ruhwedel was in a training camp battle for a spot on the team's third pairing but ended up being among the Sabres' first cuts. A two-way defensemen who signed as an undrafted player out of UMass-Lowell, Ruhwedel appeared in 21 games for the Sabres and 47 games for Rochester. He was among the Amerks' top defenseman, notching 28 points during the season and five points in five games in the playoffs.
