Wild's Haula Practices Despite Charley Horse

News: Erik Haula suffered a charley horse in Sunday's win over Winnipeg, but was able to practice Wednesday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Analysis: It looks like he'll be able to play Thursday at Philadelphia.

Wild's Haula Nets Second Goal

News: Erik Haula tallied his second goal of the season in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Stars.
Analysis: The 23-year-old looked like he might carve out a larger role with the Wild this season, but good health from top two centers Mikko Koivu and Mikael Granlund has minimized his impact to date. With just two points in 14 games, Erik Haula probably won't warrant much interest until he's elevated into a top-six role.

Wild's Haula Will Play Saturday

News: Erik Haula (head) has been cleared to return to the lineup Saturday against the Stars, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Analysis: Erik Haula missed the last two games for the Wild, mostly as a precaution after he took a hit from the head from John Moore in Monday's loss to the Rangers. The forward was cleared of any concussion-like symptoms after practicing Friday, and it looks like he'll slot back in on either the third or fourth line for Saturday's affair.

Wild's Haula Practices Friday

News: Erik Haula (undisclosed) took part in practice Friday, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Analysis: The news would suggest that Erik Haula is on track to reenter the lineup Saturday against the Stars. His status likely won't be officially known until after the Wild conclude their morning skate that day.

Wild's Haula Will Not Play Thursday

News: Erik Haula (undisclosed) will not play in Thursday's game against the Sharks, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports.
Analysis: Erik Haula was held out of Tuesday's game for precautionary reasons after taking a hit to his head the day before, but with him sitting out a second game in a row Thursday, it's clear he is not 100 percent healthy. Head coach Mike Yeo said Haula is feeling better, so consider him day-to-day and questionable for Saturday's game against the Stars.

Wild's Haula Not Diagnosed With Concussion

News: While Erik Haula hasn't been diagnosed with a concussion from a hit to the head he took in Monday's game, the Wild held him out Tuesday as a precaution, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Analysis: It's not clear how long he'll be out, but he may miss more than one game.

Wild's Haula Ruled Out Tuesday

News: Erik Haula has been ruled out of Tuesday's game against the Bruins.
Analysis: Kyle Brodziak is set to take Erik Haula's spot in the lineup. Haula was the recipient of a malicious elbow from the Rangers' John Moore on Monday, which resulted in the defenseman's ejection and a likely suspension from the league office. Coach Mike Yeo noted that while Haula wasn't diagnosed with a concussion after falling to the ice following the hit, the team decided to keep him out as a precaution, given that concussion symptoms can sometimes take more than 24 hours to surface. The team will probably evaluate Haula again on Wednesday, and if he's still cleared of any symptoms, he would likely return to the lineup Thursday versus the Sharks.

Wild's Haula Tallies First Point

News: Erik Haula recorded his first point of the season Saturday against the Lightning, notching the game-winning goal in a 7-2 victory.
Analysis: The third-line center entered the 2014-15 season with some sleeper potential after a solid showing during the playoffs, but he's done little to justify much excitement thus far. With one point and 10 shots on goal in six games, it's probably best for those in deeper formats to wait for Erik Haula to find his scoring touch before grabbing him.

Wild's Haula (Jaw) Back To Full Speed

News: Erik Haula, who suffered a broken jaw at the World Championships in Belarus in May, is back to full strength at the start of training camp, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Analysis: Erik Haula looks set to center the Wild's third line. Huala had a strong showing in the playoffs with four goals and seven points in 11 games and looks set to build on that performance with a set job in the NHL this season.
