Nash Returns To Rangers' Lineup

News: Coach Alain Vigneault confirmed that Rick Nash (neck spasms) would play Thursday against the Coyotes.
Analysis: Rick Nash, who missed Tuesday's game against the Flames, checks back into the lineup as the Rangers' top scorer, with a fantasy-friendly 37 goals and 58 points in 58 games to date. Fantasy owners should be sure to keep him active Thursday.

Rangers' Nash Out Tuesday With Neck Spasms

News: Rick Nash is suffering from neck spasms and will not be available for Tuesday's game against the Flames, Andrew Gross of the Bergen Record reports.
Analysis: Coach Alain Vigneault suggested at the Rangers' morning skate that the team was concerned about the availability for a few players for Tuesday's game, and it would appear that Rick Nash is one of them. The Rangers are calling Nash day-to-day, but it puts daily league players in quite a bind if they were planning on rolling the winger in their lineup. Instead, the newly recalled Oscar Lindberg will take the ice for his NHL debut, while Nash turns his attention to a possible return Thursday against the Coyotes.

Rangers' Nash Strikes Again Friday

News: Rick Nash potted his 37th goal of the season and had an assist in Friday's win over the Sabres.
Analysis: This guy can't stop scoring. It's getting ridiculous. The 30-year-old has now recorded nine goals and 15 points in his last 11 games. He's contributing in almost every fantasy category, recording a plus-24 rating, seven game-winning goals and 219 shots on goal in 57 games on the season. Just Rick Nashty.

Rangers' Nash Nets League-Leading 35th Goal

News: Rick Nash scored his NHL-best 35th goal in Saturday's win over Arizona. It stood up as the winner.
Analysis: He has seven goals and five assists in his last eight games and he's delivering at a point-per-game pace. You know what to do.

Rangers' Nash Retakes Goal Lead

News: Rick Nash scored a highlight-reel goal and added an assist Thursday in a 6-3 win over Colorado.
Analysis: The goal was a thing of beauty, as he came around from behind the goal and fired a falling-down wrister past Semyon Varlamov. It also pushed his total to 34, one up on Alex Ovechkin for the league lead. With 11 points in the last seven games, few skaters are hotter than Rick Nash right now.

Rick Nash

Rangers' Nash Plays Assistant Tuesday

News: Rick Nash dished out three assists and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Leafs.
Analysis: The NHL's top goal scorer put only two shots on net, but his goal-heavy season line needed a few helpers to balance it out a little anyway. With his recent push -- nine points in the last six games -- Rick Nash now has himself at an even point-per-game pace over 52 contests.

Nash Extends Hot Streak In Rangers' Loss

News: Rick Nash scored in Saturday's 3-2 loss to host Nashville.
Analysis: The goal extends his goal-scoring streak to four games, the third such streak of the season for the 30-year-old Rick Nash. He's collected 19 shots on goal and six points over those four games. Nash, who has a plus-20 rating to go with his 49 points in 50 games, is already nearing his career high of 41 goals, set a decade ago in his sophomore season.

News: Rick Nash recorded a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Bruins.
Analysis: Rick Nash is still red hot, and now has five points in his last three games. He continues to lead the league with 32 goals through 49 games on the season, and also ranks ninth with a plus-20 rating.

Rangers' Nash Bags Two More Goals

News: Rick Nash potted his 30th and 31st goals of the season, the first shorthanded and the second on an empty net, in Monday's 6-3 win over the Panthers.
Analysis: Rick Nash's two goals pulls him back even with Alexander Ovechkin for the league lead in goals. After a short scoring drought, the winger has now scored in consecutive games and is just 10 goals away from matching his personal best set over 10 years ago.

Nash Breaks Mini Slump In Rangers' Win

News: Rick Nash scored his 29th goal of the season in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Carolina.
Analysis: In finding the back of the net, Rick Nash pulls alongside Alex Ovechkin for the lead in goal-scoring. The goal also breaks a three-game point-scoring drought for the veteran winger who has enjoyed a bounce-back season, having logged a plus-17 rating to go along with his 44 points in 47 games played.

Rangers' Nash Bags Two Goals In Win

News: Rick Nash potted a pair of goals in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Penguins.
Analysis: Rick Nash has been terrific all season, but he was in the midst of a season-high three game pointless streak entering Sunday. With the two goals, he retakes the league lead with 28 to go along with 15 assists.

Bounce-Back Year Rages On For Rangers' Nash

News: Rick Nash tallied a goal and attempted seven shots in Saturday's 3-1 defeat of the Sharks.
Analysis: That's 26 goals and 41 points in 39 games for Rick Nash, including three tallies in his last four. The 30-year-old has more than rewarded savvy fantasy players who viewed last year's dropoff in production as an aberration. In fact, he's already surpassed entire point output from 2013-14, requiring 27 fewer games to do so.

Rangers' Nash: Pots 24th Of Season

News: Rick Nash scored his 24th goal of the season and added an assist in Saturday's win over Buffalo. The goal came on the power play.
Analysis: He has 38 points in 36 games and is but a single point from tying his season total from last season (39). But remarkably, he has just seven points on the power play. Of course we'd love to see more there, but we'll take elite even-strength production just the same.

Rangers' Nash Grabs Three Points

News: Rick Nash scored two goals, added a power-play assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
Analysis: Has this guy been amazing or what? After going scoreless on 10 shots over the prior two games, Rick Nash decided that was enough of that and popped off with yet another scoring outburst. Sure, one of the goals was a deflection off his leg, but hey, they all count. He's now just three points shy of last year's 39-point output, but in half as many games.

Nash Hits 20 Goals As Rangers Roll

News: Rick Nash got the scoring started with an unassisted goal in Tuesday's win over the Flames, then contributed a shorthanded tally -- his 20th goal of the year -- that ended up being the game-winner.
Analysis: The guy is simply unstoppable right now. Rick Nash now has an 11-game point streak going and has been on the board in 17 of the last 19 dating back to the beginning of November. With 33 points to show for 29 games on the year, he's been simply dominant, and though he's going to have a hard time keeping up his currently sky-high shooting percentage, the Nash of old has officially arrived in New York.

Rangers' Nash Extends Point Streak To Nine Games

News: Rick Nash extended his point streak to nine games Saturday, picking up two assists in a win over the Canucks.
Analysis: This guy is just on another level right now. Rick Nash now has 18 goals and 30 points in 27 games this season, to go with a plus-11 rating. The Rangers' leading scorer is a must-start every game.

Rangers' Nash Extends Streak With Goal

News: Rick Nash scored a goal in Monday's 4-3 victory over the Penguins.
Analysis: Rick Nash has been on fire all season, and the goal extended his streak to eight consecutive games with a point. His 18 goals are second best in the league and put him on pace to break his career-bests of 41 goals and 79 points. The 30-year-old should continue to be considered a top fantasy option.

Rangers' Nash Gets Shortie In Win

News: Rick Nash notched his second shorthanded goal of the season in Friday's 3-0 win over the Flyers.
Analysis: Rick Nash found twine following a 3-on-1 break when the Rangers were on the penalty kill, providing the knockout blow in a game the Flyers were thoroughly outplayed. The goal, Nash's 16th of the season, leaves him just one short of Dallas' Tyler Seguin for the league lead. Nash has been especially hot of late, registering a goal in four consecutive games.

Rangers' Nash Notches Two Points

News: Rick Nash scored a goal and added an assist versus the Lightning on Wednesday. He was also a plus-2 and had four penalty minutes.
Analysis: Rick Nash has a three game goal scoring streak going, and his 15 goals on the season are near the top of the leaderboard. Those who had qualms with Nash's play last year are surely quiet now, as he's on pace to have the most goals of his career.

Friday's Game Postponed For Rangers, Nash

News: Rick Nash and the Rangers had their scheduled game Friday against the Sabres postponed due to the extreme weather conditions in the Buffalo area, Andrew Gross of the Bergen Record reports.
Analysis: With some parts of the region receiving up to six feet of snow this week, traveling to Buffalo would have proven quite treacherous for the Rangers had the game been played as scheduled. No make-up date has been announced yet for the game, but expect Rick Nash to be in the lineup for the Rangers' next contest Sunday versus Montreal.

Rangers' Nash Scores Again Wednesday

News: Rick Nash scored a goal in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Flyers.
Analysis: The winger continued his blazing hot start to the season Wednesday, as he picked up his 13th goal and 20th point of the season in just his 19th game. His 13 goals rank second in the entire NHL, and make him an elite fantasy player moving forward.

Rangers' Nash Tallies League-Leading 12th Goal

News: Rick Nash scored a shorthanded goal -- his league-leading 12th of the season -- and dished out a pair of assists in Tuesday's 5-0 rout of the Penguins.
Analysis: Rick Nash entered the night tied with the inactive Corey Perry in goals at 11, and he ended it tied with Tyler Seguin at 12 after Seguin scored two goals Tuesday. One of Nash's assists came on the power play. All in all, it's been a sparkling start for the big winger, who in 15 games is already nearly halfway to the 26 goals and 39 points he recorded all of last season.

Rangers' Nash Tied For League Lead In Goals

News: Rick Nash potted his 11th goal of the season in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Maple Leafs.
Analysis: With the Ducks idle Saturday, Rick Nash's marker vaulted him into a tie with Corey Perry for the league lead in goals. The winger has supplied a point in three straight games and has bounced back swiftly from a 2013-14 campaign that mostly qualified as a disappointment.

Rangers' Nash Scores Ninth In Win

News: Rick Nash scored his ninth goal of the season and added an assist in Monday's 5-4 home win over the Wild. He also added three hits and three shots on net.
Analysis: Another game, another goal for the 2002 first-overall pick. Imagine if he could have produced like this in last year's playoffs? The Rangers could very well be defending a Stanley Cup championship right now. At any rate, with nine goals and two assists in nine games this year, Rick Nash is looking like his old studly self again. However, not to spoil the party -- but be mindful that his shooting percentage currently sits at 31 percent, which will be impossible to sustain, especially since his career average is 12.6 percent.

Rangers' Nash Builds On NHL Goal Lead

News: Rick Nash scored his league-leading eighth goal in Tuesday's overtime win over the Devils.
Analysis: Rick Nash has raced out to a torrid start to his 2014-15 season, tallying three more goals than any other player in the NHL. The winger drew a lot of heat for his disappearing act in the Rangers' run to the Stanley Cup last season, but his hot start through the team's first seven games has helped him quiet his critics.
