News:Paul Bissonnette will not play Monday against the Wild.
Analysis:Paul Bissonnette has averaged more than five minutes of ice time in his six games this season, but the Coyotes will roll without him Monday.
News:Paul Bissonnette scored 21 points and added eight PIM in 11 games with the Cardiff Devils of the EIHL, the top hockey league in the United Kingdom.
Analysis: Biz certainly found his offensive groove overseas, contributing points at a pace he has never come close to touching in his career, though of course British pro hockey isn't known for a particularly high level of play. He still likely won't get enough playing time in Arizona to warrant much fantasy consideration.
News:Paul Bissonnette has signed with the Cardiff Devils of the British Elite Ice Hockey League, eliteprospects.com reports.
Analysis: He'll join the team Friday and may even see the ice sometime this weekend. The Coyote forward played in 31 games last season, scoring one goal and clocking 41 penalty minutes.
News: Bissonette skated in 31 games for the Coyotes in the 2011-12 season, finishing with one goal and a minus-4 rating.
Analysis: Biz, a fan favorite on Twitter, is the Coyotes' enforcer, as he collected 41 PIMs in his 31 games. He's not someone to look to for anything productive for fantasy purposes, but he'll be back for a similar role next season.
News:Paul Bissonnette skated in a game for the first time since Jan. 10 on Thursday, logging 8:34 in the Coyotes' 1-0 win over Los Angeles.
Analysis: Biz also contributed five hits and took a five-minute fighting penalty.
News: Phoenix signed enforcer Paul Bissonnette to a two-year contract extension, the financial details of which have not been released ESPN.com reports.
Analysis:Paul Bissonnette will remain in Phoenix for the 2011-12 season. Expect the usual from the Coyote defenseman; low point totals and a whole lot of PIMs.
News: Bissonnette got into an altercation with the Hurricanes' Jay Harrison in the second period Saturday night.
Analysis: After the Coyotes took back-to-back penalties in the second period, Bissonnette took matters into his own hands. Even though the Coyotes' enforcer wants to be more than a pugilist, his role is clearly defined. He won't score goals but if he continues to play, he'll rack up PIMs.
Coyotes' Enforcer Bissonnette Wants to Expand Role
News: Bissonnette wants to be known for more than an enforcer, according to the Arizona Republic.
Analysis: As the Coyotes' tough guy, he has a specific role and what makes him effective is that he picks his spots. He only played in 41 games last year and racked up 117 PIMs. Don't expect him to score more than 10 goals this season, but he should earn more than 100 PIMs.
News:The Sports Xchange reports Coyotes RW Paul Bissonnette earned his money Saturday night against Dallas. Bissonnette had the first of two fights with Krys Barch of Dallas in the first period -- with his team down 1-0 -- and after getting the better of the exchange started screaming and waving his arms at the crowd, telling them to wake up and get in the game. Barch didn't take kindly to Bissonnette's antics, and it was just a matter of time before the two danced again. That happened with six minutes left and the Coyotes trailing 3-0, and both guys got in some solid shots in the rematch.
Analysis: Bissonnette has a career-high 18 fights and 112 penalty minutes in 39 games. He has found a home with Phoenix because coach Dave Tippett loves his toughness. Still, Bissonnette is merely a flier in leagues that reward heavily for bad behavior. He has only five points on the season.
News: Coyotes D Paul Bissonnette tallied a pair of assists and finished at plus-1 on Tuesday against the Oilers. He had no assists in his first 26 games.
Analysis: Bissonnette already has a career-high four points in 2009-10, but when he dresses, it is mostly as a checking-line forward. Continue to use Bissonnette as a flier in leagues that reward heavily for PIM.
News:The Sports Xchange reports D Paul Bissonnette was one of the few skating bright spots for the Coyotes on Monday against the Oilers. In a building where toughness is respected, he had two big hits and then squared off in a fight with Edmonton's Zach Stortini, dominating the fight with some jackhammer jabs. He had only one shot on goal but was aggressive offensively.
Analysis: Bissonnette has become a regular for the Coyotes because of his added toughness. He already has gotten into nine fights this season and has 51 penalty minutes. He has definitely taken up the role of enforcer with Daniel Carcillo in Philly. Continue to use Bissonnette as a flier in leagues that reward heavily for PIM.
News:The Sports Xchange reports D Paul Bissonnette made his Phoenix debut Saturday against Columbus but had only six minutes of ice time to impress. He had three hits, including a big one on Jacob Voracek in the first period, but no opportunities to drop the gloves and give the sellout crowd a chance to see what he does best.
Analysis: Bissonnette is a defenseman by trade, but played on the fourth line Saturday. Bissonnette is a career minor leaguer and likely won't see regular minutes with Phoenix. He is merely a flier in leagues that reward heavily for PIM when in the NHL.

Analysis: Bissonnette had one assist in 15 games with Pittsburgh last season. He has no Fantasy value at this time.

News: The Penguins have recalled D Paul Bissonnette from their farm team in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Analysis: Bissonnette has pretty much been a minor leaguer to this point in his career, so he can't really help Fantasy owners until he becomes a consistent threat in the NHL. It's safe to ignore him until further notice.

News:The Sports Xchange reports Penguins LW Paul Bissonnette was re-assigned Saturday to AHL affiliated Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. He was placed on waivers Friday afternoon and cleared Saturday, as was the hope of coach Michel Therrien. "He's a young player, needs to play," Therrien said of Bissonnette, 23, who had appeared in six of 16 possible games. "It (makes) no sense to keep a player in Pittsburgh if he's not going to play."

Analysis: Bissonnette, 23, posted eight points (three goals, five assists) and 145 penalty minutes in 46 contests with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (AHL) during the 2007-08 season. He also appeared in 22 games with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, scoring 17 points (three goals, 14 assists) and 43 penalty minutes. He is nothing more than organizational depth and can be ignored in Fantasy.
