AHL MVP Johnson To Get Shot With Bolts

News: Tyler Johnson is one of five AHL players who'll compete for one or two open roster spots on the Lightning, reports the Tampa Tribune. "It's awesome they trust you enough to give you the opportunity," Johnson said. "That's all you can ask for."
Analysis: Tyler Johnson might have an inside line on one of the spots, what with the bling of the AHL MVP shining in his general manager's eyes. But he'll compete with Richard Panik, Ondrej Palat, J.T. Brown and Brett Connolly for one of the two available spots.
