Ducks' Perry Scores Late Equalizer

News: Corey Perry scored in the last minute of the third to send Thursday's game against the Bruins to overtime.
Analysis: He struggled throughout the early part of March with just four points in the first nine games, but has bounced back nicely with four goals and an assist in his last five. Corey Perry is heating up at just the right time for the Ducks.

Ducks' Perry Pots Pair In Loss

News: Corey Perry potted a pair of goals and recorded eight shots on goal in Sunday's lopsided loss to the Rangers.
Analysis: Corey Perry has now scored in back-to-back games, giving him 31 goals on the season -- ninth most in the NHL. He also hit the 50-point mark Sunday for the seventh time in his 10-season NHL career. The 29-year-old is one of the most lethal scorers around and should be in your lineup every game.

Perry Gets Win For Ducks

News: Corey Perry scored the overtime winner for his club Friday night against Colorado.
Analysis: Corey Perry has been quiet recently, this being only his fourth point in the month of March. He's certainly not going to have a career year in any category this season, but his 48 points are still good enough for second on the Ducks. Perry remains a solid fantasy option.

Ducks' Perry Hits Scoresheet Twice In Win Sunday

News: Corey Perry tallied a goal and an assist in Sunday's win over the Stars.
Analysis: The points give Corey Perry 45 points on the season. Despite missing 15 of his team's 64 games this season, Perry is second only to linemate Ryan Getzlaf in scoring among Anaheim skaters.

Ducks' Perry Ends Goalless Streak

News: Corey Perry scored his 25th and 26th goals of the season Friday night against the Kings.
Analysis: The goals couldn't have come at a better time for the Ducks. Corey Perry scored the eventual game-winner and the empty-netter to ice the game in the third, capping off a massive third period comeback win. The goals ended a five-game drought for Perry, in which he was only able to tally one assist.

Ducks' Perry Scores 24th Goal

News: Corey Perry potted his 24th goal of the season and had a game-high 10 shots on goal in Sunday's loss to Washington.
Analysis: Corey Perry's been rolling of late, recording five goals and eight points in his last seven games. His 24 goals are 10th most in the NHL, while his plus-16 rating ranks him among the league's top-25 leaders. Producing at a point-per-game pace and contributing in almost every fantasy category, Perry is a must-start every game.

Ducks' Perry Helps Out Sunday

News: Corey Perry delivered an assist in Sunday's loss to the Lightning.
Analysis: Corey Perry now has at least one point in five straight games. He's a perennial star and health permitting, the Canadian could find himself in the 60-65 point range this campaign, despite being limited to 39 games so far.

Perry Powers Ducks' Comeback Win

News: Corey Perry scored the game's first goal, potted the game-tying goal with 4:08 remaining in the third period, and notched the primary assist on Ryan Getzlaf's overtime winner Tuesday against Carolina.
Analysis: After being held off the scoresheet for a couple games, Corey Perry's bounced back with four points over his last two. He's just barely short of a point-per-game pace, but injury and illness cost him 15 games earlier this year, so this won't be another 80-point campaign.

Ducks' Perry Chips In Two Assists In Win

News: Corey Perry chipped in two assists, two PIM and finished with a plus-3 rating in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Flames.
Analysis: Corey Perry seemed to be a bit rusty initially upon his return from a knee injury on New Year's Eve, but he now looks to be fully dialed in. Over his last four games, he's compiled four goals and three assists while going plus-9. If not for the knee injury and a bout with the mumps in November, Perry would find himself near the top of the NHL leaderboard in goals, as his 0.59 tallies per game rank behind only Rick Nash and Tyler Seguin this season.

Tricky Outing For Ducks' Perry

News: Corey Perry sniped three goals -- one on an empty net -- for his eighth career hat trick in a 4-0 win over the visiting Maple Leafs on Wednesday.
Analysis: He's officially back. After a 10-game absence due to a knee injury, Corey Perry had been uncharacteristically unproductive in his first five games back, notching just two points while skating to a minus-5 rating. However, with 13 shots in the last two games and Wednesday's three-goal outburst, he appears to be rounding back into form. Keep him active at all times.

Ducks' Perry (Knee) Activated From IR

News: Corey Perry (knee) was activated from injured reserve Wednesday.
Analysis: Coach Bruce Boudreau hasn't yet provided commentary on the transaction, but it's a likely sign that Corey Perry will return to the lineup Wednesday against the Sharks, marking his first game since Dec. 5. The knee injury along with a nasty battle with the mumps have resulted in extended absences for Perry, but he's been exceptionally productive when he's played this season. Next to Ryan Getzlaf on the top line, Perry has netted 14 goals and 22 points in 23 games, numbers strong enough to warrant an immediate activation in any format.

Ducks' Perry: No Points In Return To Action

News: Corey Perry (knee) returned to action Wednesday against the Sharks. He had missed 10 games with the injury.
Analysis: He picked up a minor penalty for roughing and fired three shots on net. Get him back into your lineup STAT.

Ducks' Perry Taking Pregame Rushes

News: Corey Perry participated in pregame warmups Wednesday, and will likely be available for the evening tilt against the Sharks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: Corey Perry was activated from IR Wednesday, and although he hasn't seen the ice since Dec. 5, his early season production (22 points in 23 games) makes him worth an immediate start in most formats.

Ducks' Perry (Knee) A Question Mark For Wednesday

News: Corey Perry (knee) is viewed as questionable for Wednesday's tilt with the Sharks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: After skating on his own for the previous week, Corey Perry resumed practicing with the team Monday and looks like he's nearing the finish line of his recovery from the injury. Coach Bruce Boudreau and the training staff will assess Perry's condition at Wednesday's morning skate, and if all goes well, the winger would likely be cleared to see his first action since Dec. 5. Perry's return would bump Devante Smith-Pelly off the Ducks' top line.

Ducks' Perry Practices

News: Corey Perry (knee) took part in the team's practice Monday, Elliott Teaford of the Los Angeles News Group reports.
Analysis: Corey Perry hasn't played since Dec. 5, but looks like he might be able to get back in the lineup Wednesday against the Sharks. The winger racked up 14 goals and eight assists in 23 games before getting hurt.

Ducks' Perry Not Expected To Play Sunday

News: Corey Perry (knee) is not expected to play Sunday against the Canucks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: While Corey Perry has been skating on his own for over a week, he did not travel with the team to Arizona for Saturday's game and it doesn't sound like he'll be ready to play Sunday when the Ducks host the Canucks. Perry has been out since Dec. 5 with a sprained left knee.

Ducks' Perry (Knee) Won't Play Monday

News: Corey Perry (knee) was not part of the line rushes in practice Sunday, and won't play Monday against the Sharks, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: Corey Perry will have to be activated from injured reserve before returning and now it appears Monday is no longer an option. He was on the ice for practice Sunday, but was wearing a red no-contact jersey. His next chance to return will come after the Christmas break.

Ducks' Perry Skates Wednesday

News: Corey Perry (knee) skated on his own back in Anaheim on Wednesday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: Corey Perry isn't traveling with the Ducks on their road trip while he remains more than a few days away from playing, but his return to the ice does offer hope that he's coming close to the end of his recovery timetable. If he demonstrates strong progress over the next few days, he could be activated in time for next Monday's home game against the Sharks. Otherwise, his return wouldn't come until after the Christmas break.

Ducks' Perry (Knee) Out Three-To-Four Weeks

News: Corey Perry will miss three-to-four weeks due to a sprained left knee, Janis Carr of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: The Ducks wasted no time in placing Corey Perry on injured reserve Monday after assessing his condition during an evaluation earlier in the day. The setback is a troubling development for Perry, considering his injury was initially categorized as a minor knee ailment when we was forced out of Friday's game. The Ducks will now be without their top sniper through at least the New Year, perhaps creating the opportunity for Kyle Palmieri, Jakob Silfverberg or Devante Smith-Pelly to emerge as Ryan Getzlaf's right-hand man on the top line.

Ducks Place Perry On IR

News: Corey Perry (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday.
Analysis: The Ducks aren't expected to provide an update on the extent of Corey Perry's injury until Tuesday, but the placement on IR ensures that he won't be eligible to return until Saturday, meaning he'll miss at least the team's next two games. Fantasy owners can only wait and hope that the Ducks' next status update on Perry doesn't extend his timetable much further than that.

Ducks' Perry (Knee) Set For Evaluation

News: Corey Perry (knee) will be re-evaluated when the Ducks return home, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Analysis: Corey Perry can safely be ruled out for Sunday's game against Winnipeg in light of this news. While Perry, who suffered the knee injury Friday, is currently without a timetable for a return, his evaluation early next week should yield an estimate for his recovery period.

Ducks' Perry Suffers Minor Knee Injury

News: Corey Perry suffered a minor knee injury in Friday's game, but will continue to travel with the team, Helene Elliot of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis: The fact that he will travel with the team to Winnipeg suggests he could take the ice in the very near future. Consider him day-to-day.

Ducks' Perry Leaves With Lower-Body Injury

News: Corey Perry left Friday's game against the Wild in the first period and is doubtful to return.
Analysis: Corey Perry's injury came on a hip check by Keith Ballard, after which he was helped straight to the locker room. He missed an extended period of time earlier in the season with the mumps, as did multiple teammates. It would be another big blow to the club if the injury costs Perry more time, but the Ducks should provide an update on his status at some point before their next game Sunday against the Jets.

Ducks' Perry Helps Out On Two

News: Corey Perry picked up two helpers in Wednesday's win over the Flyers.
Analysis: Corey Perry's second assist game on a power-play goal for Patrick Maroon, snapping the Ducks' 0-for-19 skid with the man advantage. In addition, Perry also beat goalie Steve Mason for the game-winning tally in the shootout.

Ducks' Perry Managed Three Points In Loss

News: Corey Perry scored a pair of goals, had an assist, and was credited with six shots on goal in Saturday's loss to San Jose.
Analysis: An all-around dominant effort from Corey Perry, who now has 14 goals in just 20 games this season. With 20 points in 20 games, to go with a plus-9 rating, Perry is an automatic start every game.
