Analysis: Schneider wasn't needed in Vancouver after signing a $1.5 million deal this offseason. Zimmerman has yet to play in an NHL game and should also be ignored at thie time.
News: The New Jersey Devils re-signed center Rod Pelley on Friday and acquired forward Kevin Cormier in a trade with the Phoenix Coyotes. New Jersey traded defenseman Sean Zimmerman to get Cormier.
Analysis: Zimmerman split the 2007-2008 season between the Devils' minor league affiliates in Trenton and Lowell. He is nothing more than organizational depth and can be ignored in Fantasy.
News: The New Jersey Devils returned D Matthew Corrente to Saginaw of the OHL, F Kyell Henegan to Shawinigan of the QMJHL, D Kirill Tupulov to Chicoutimi of the QMJHL and D Sean Zimmerman to Spokane of the WHL on Tuesday.
