Analysis: This was
Simon Gagne's first time on the ice since his Dec. 26 concussion. Kings officials reportedly discussed the possibility of Gagne missing the rest of the season, but this is a positive sign for the 31-year-old. There is no timetable for his return, as he is just beginning to work himself back onto the ice.
News: Sergei Bobrovsky will start in goal Sunday against Detroit, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.
Analysis: Illya Bryzgalov has been dealing with the flu, so
Sergei Bobrovsky will start his third consecutive game. His 12-6-1 record is admirable, but it's important to note that Bobrovsky allowed five goals to the Rangers in Saturday's loss.

Analysis: Brandon Prust is eighth in the NHL in penalty minutes this season with 114. Though this is the only real fantasy asset Prust brings to the table, he provided owners with a small scoring boost Sunday.
News: John Carlson scored a goal late in the third period of a 3-2 loss to the Rangers on Sunday.
Analysis: John Carlson notched a goal and an assist in Sunday's effort. The goal came on a slap shot and was assisted by Alex Ovechkin and Roman Hamrlik. His assist came on a goal by Alexander Semin and was Carlson's 20th helper of the season.
News: The Flyers recalled
Eric Wellwood on Sunday, the team's official Twitter page reports.
Analysis: Eric Wellwood has only appeared in four career NHL games, but he has recorded two points (assists) in those games. The 21-year-old has put up 20 points (9G, 11A) in 31 games for the Adirondack Phantoms of the AHL this season. He'll have to put together a more substantial body of work before he winds up on most fantasy radars, but he's a good young player.

Brandon Dubinsky had scored just one point in his previous 11 games. Through 51 games, Dubinsky's scoring is down (24 points), but on the plus side, he has recorded a plus-13 rating and 84 PIMs in that span.
News: Michal Neuvirth allowed three goals in a 3-2 loss to the Rangers on Sunday.
Analysis: Michal Neuvirth went 25-28 on the afternoon. He is 6-9 on the season. Neuvirth will continue to play second fiddle to the established Caps starter, Tomas Vokoun.

News: Jack Skille (shoulder) will return to the lineup for Sunday's game against the Islanders, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.
Analysis: Jack Skille has been dealing with a bad shoulder since mid-December. He returned on Jan. 20, and played two games before being sidelined again. The 24-year-old isn't much of a scoring option (six points in his 33 games this season), but he does pile up some penalty minutes (24 this season).
News: Henrik Lundqvist stopped 24-of-26 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Capitals.
Analysis: Henrik Lundqvist has now won six of his last seven starts, with his lone loss in that span being a 1-0 defeat at the hands of New Jersey on Feb. 7.
