It's not often a college team returns all 11 of its starters, and from a national championship team nonetheless, but that's the situation the Gators inherit in 2009. And it's not like the Gators don't have depth either. Florida can go two-deep at most positions with experienced players. Florida is returning 100 percent of its sacks (34) and nearly 100 percent of its interceptions (25-of-26) from last season. The stars up front are defensive ends Carlos Dunlap and Jermaine Cunningham. In the middle, Brandon Spikes opted to return for another season instead of turning pro. He will be flanked by the likes of A.J. Jones, Dustin Doe, Ryan Stamper and Brandon Hicks -- all players with starting experience. The secondary is also loaded with talent from the likes of Joe Haden, Major Wright, Ahmad Black, Will Hill and Janoris Jenkins. UF had the fourth best scoring defense (12.9 ppg), ninth total defense (285.3 ypg), 15th rushing defense (105.4 ypg) and 20th pass defense (179.9 pyg) in 2008. To make the Florida DST even that more appealing for Fantasy purposes, UF arguably has the best return man in the game in Brandon James. The Florida DST is a legit No. 1 Fantasy option.
