While head coach Doug Marrone's first recruiting class only landed 14 players -- none considered blue-chip prospects -- a gift did fall into his lap as Williams was reinstated to the program after missing the 2008 season due to academic concerns. Before being removed from school, Williams led the Orange in 2007 with 60 catches -- a school record. He also had a touchdown catch in nine straight games, which still stands as the longest active streak in the nation. Out of his 60 receptions, 39 went for first downs and he has a catch in 20 straight games. Williams finished with 837 yards and 10 touchdowns in '07.
