Jeff Cumberland has made a smooth transition from tight end to wide receiver for the Illini. Cumberland made the switch midway through the 2007 season as Illinois looked to take advantage of his 6-foot-5, 255-pound frame on the outside. Cumberland turned into a big-play threat for Illinois last season, averaging 17.6 yards per catch. He had 20 catches for 352 yards and tied for the team lead with four touchdowns. Cumberland is one of Illinois' starting wide receivers, but he is among a crowded bunch at the position. He merely has Fantasy appeal in the deepest of formats. (Updated 6/10/09)
