Dwight Tardy was fortunate to be on the field in 2008 after tearing his ACL midway through the 2007 season. Sadly, however, his production dropped last season after rushing for 1,200 yards in his first two years. Tardy was making great strides as a sophomore before his injury (699 yards in eight games) and dropped to just 481 rushing yards, three touchdowns and a 3.6 yards per carry average in '08. He even missed two games with injury. Tardy's numbers were still good enough to lead WSU in rushing. Second-year coach Paul Wulff is looking to establish the run a bit more in 2009, but until Tardy's numbers start to rise he has low-end Fantasy appeal. (Updated 6/12/09)
