Anthony McCoy ended up being USC's starting tight end in 2008, as the team tried to replace the most prolific tight end in school history -- Fred Davis. McCoy lost some time to Rhett Ellison and Blake Ayles but proved to be the team's most efficient pass catcher. He had 22 receptions for 256 yards and one touchdown. The senior tight end should lead the trio again in 2009 as long as he is healthy but remains more of a No. 2 Fantasy option. McCoy, offensive tackle Tyron Smith and defensive tackle Averell Spicer have all been ruled academically ineligible for this coming Saturday's Emerald Bowl against Boston College, ESPN.com reports.
