It took Juice Williams more than two years to finally have his Heisman-like performance, but the dual-threat quarterback kicked off the 2008 season in a big way with 451 passing yards and five touchdowns in a 52-42 loss to Missouri. Williams had his finest season as a college quarterback in '08. He threw for a career-high 3,173 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also rushed for 719 yards and five scores. Williams had a touchdown pass in all but one of 12 games, had a career-high 503 total yards against Minnesota and passed for 400-plus yards twice. Williams, who has started Illinois' last 34 games, has career totals of 6,405 passing yards and 2,050 rushing yards and 58 touchdowns. Williams needs just 2,321 passing yards and 27 touchdown passes to break the school record in both categories. He already holds every quarterback rushing mark at Illinois. Despite the loss of offensive coordinator Mike Locksley, Williams should have a respectable senior season and is no worse than a No. 2 Fantasy QB.
