Broderick Green, who hails from Little Rock, Ark., had to come home from Southern California after health concerns popped up on the family front. The USC transfer will immediately be eligible to play in 2009 under NCAA hardship rules. It's good news for Arkansas, who gets a former four-star prospect they lost out on in 2007, and for Green, who not only gets to be close to family but leaves a crowded backfield of former high school All-Americans at USC. Green rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns in mop-up duty as a redshirt freshman in 2008. He went through spring drills and could make an immediate impact as a backup running back to Michael Smith in the fall. However, Green remains a wait-and-see Fantasy option. (Updated 6/15/09)
