The Boston College offense is not one to throw to their tight end often as evidenced by established pass catcher Ryan Purvis' -- now graduated -- 24 catches for only 176 yards and no touchdowns last season. Purvis put up much bigger numbers the season prior with NFL QB Matt Ryan tossing the passes for the Eagles. Still, Purvis is gone now and that leaves the starting job to capable backup Anderson, who caught nine passes for 84 yards and the one receiving TD from a tight end last year. Anderson was also huge when he caught a pass and scampered 84 yards to set up the game-winning TD at N.C. State last season. Anderson is a 6-foot-3 sophomore who will see the bulk of the catches among the tight ends for the Eagles. Still, with a less-than-accurate project at QB like Codi Boek and Justin Tuggle, we don't expect his numbers to warrant Fantasy use in anything but the deepest of formats. (Updated 6/15/09)
