Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins somehow bargained with the recruiting Gods to get the high school All-American Darrell Scott to campus in 2008. Scott came off the high school circuit with promise of being an impact back as a freshman. Unfortunately, injuries slowed him down, and he watched as fellow true freshman Rodney Stewart led the team in rushing with 622 yards. Scott was a distant second with 343 yards and one rushing touchdown. He also had nine catches for 105 yards. However, Scott finally seems to be healthy and ready for his breakout season. Scott was the star of the spring game with a team-high 90 rushing yards and averaged 6.0 yards per carry. Scott should only be drafted as a Fantasy reserve but is certainly a player to watch.
