Nic Grigsby made his mark on the Arizona program as a freshman in 2007. He came into school and beat out the competition for the starting job. By season's end he led the team in rushing with 704 yards and was second in all-purpose yardage (904). Still, when Grigsby returned for his sophomore campaign in 2008, Arizona remained focused on passing the ball with Willie Tuitama under center. So, Grigsby did his best to make every carry he got worth his while. By the end of '08, Grigsby rushed for 1,153 yards and 13 touchdowns. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry and opened the season with a touchdown in six straight games. Tuitama is no longer under center, and Grigsby certainly will be counted on heavily in 2009 to help take the pressure off the new quarterback. Consider Grigsby a nice No. 2 or No. 3 Fantasy RB.
