When Wade Penner struggled to impress at the beginning of the 2008 season, first-year head coach Paul Wulff quickly turned to Nico Grasu in the kicking game. The Californian responded by starting the final 11 games and connecting on 9-of-13 field goals. Grasu didn't have great distance, going just 2-of-4 from 40-49 yards and not attempting a 50-yarder. But the junior college transfer still finished with a team-high 40 points. Wazzu has a lot of uncertainty at other positions heading into 2009, but kicker is not one. Still, Grasu is only worth a flier in the deepest of Fantasy formats. (Updated 6/12/09)
