The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Michael Floyd was as good as advertised as a true freshman in 2008. The former high school All-American started 10 of the 11 games he appeared in while garnering some freshman All-American honors from a few publications. Floyd established Notre Dame freshmen records with 48 receptions for 719 yards and seven touchdowns. He did all that while missing 2.5 games due to injury. Floyd had four 100-yard receiving games with his best effort coming against Pittsburgh (10 catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns). Floyd had just two catches for 17 yards over the final four games because of the injury, but could you imagine the numbers he might have posted if 100 percent? Floyd pairs with Golden Tate to form one of the most dangerous receiving duos in the country. Floyd definitely passes as a viable Fantasy option in larger formats. (Updated 6/15/09)
