The 2009 season should be a special year for Central Michigan senior Dan LeFevour. The dual-threat quarterback is mere yards and touchdowns away from setting a handful of MAC records. He needs 27 touchdown passes to top Marshall quarterback Chad Pennington as the all-time conference leader. He is also 383 total yards shy of becoming the all-time MAC leader in total offense, and 2,437 passing yards away from setting another conference record. By the way LeFevour has been rolling along in his career; most of those records should fall in '09. He ranks 14th in FBS history with 11,702 total yards and is the first CMU quarterback to throw for at least 2,500 yards in three seasons. He already owns CMU single-season records for completions (355), touchdown passes (27) and total offense (4,774). LeFevour had bit of a down season in 2008 as he battled an ankle injury. He still completed a career-high 66.8 percent of his passes for 2,784 yards and 21 touchdowns in 11 games. He also had a career-low six interceptions, while adding 592 rushing yards and six scores. The 2007 MAC Offensive Player of the Year is looking to go out in style in '09 and it's going to help that two of his favorite receivers -- Antonio Brown and Bryan Anderson -- return. LeFevour still passes as a No. 1 Fantasy quarterback. (Updated 6/16/09) The 2009 season should be a special year for Central Michigan senior Dan LeFevour.
