There isn't a whole lot to get excited about the Boston College passing game. After the departure of quarterback Chris Crane and leading receiver Brandon Robinson, the cupboard is pretty bare for offensive coordinator Gary Tranquil. The one bright spot should be Gunnell, who caught a team-high 49 passes for 551 yards and four touchdowns last season. Gunnell, a senior, has 121 receptions for 1,579 yards and 11 scores over the course of his career in Chestnut Hill and will be the most reliable target for whoever earns the starting nod at quarterback. Still, Gunnell is not very tall at 5-foot-11 and he's mostly a possession guy. Plus, the Eagles will definitely struggle through the air this season and will rely heavily on their ground game. Gunnell may catch upwards of 50 passes next season but we just don't see too much other improvement with the state of the offense. Gunnell is just a low-end Fantasy flier heading into the year.
