Mark Reynolds mired in serious home run drought
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(7/2/14) Brewers first baseman Mark Reynolds entered play Wednesday at Toronto without a home run in his last 25 games, which has matched the longest stretch of his career without a homer.

"I'm not concerned about the homers, but squaring up balls more," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said, per MLB.com. "I like him out there all the time because of his defense. He's done an unbelievable job for us that way. Most of the time, I'd have him out there [on Wednesday]."

Reynolds was held out of the starting lineup Wednesday because he was 0 for 16 with eight strikeouts in his career against Blue Jays starting pitcher J.A. Happ.
