|(12:11 am ET) Giants starter Madison Bumgarner dropped to 11-6 with a loss to Texas on Friday.

Giants' Madison Bumgarner strong on mound, at plate on Saturday
|by Jason Lempert | Staff Writer|
|(7/25/15) Giants ace Madison Bumgarner was in fine form in his start against the A's on Saturday. The left-handed hurler allowed one run on five hits over seven strong innings. He walked two and struck out seven, throwing 65 of his 101 pitches for strikes.
Bumgarner (11-5) lowered his ERA to 3.16 with the dominant showing on Saturday. He was not only a difference maker on the mound, as he belted his third home run of the season in the third inning to give the Giants a 1-0 lead. It was Bumgarner's ninth home run of his career.
Saturday's performance was his finest since June 28. He had not pitched more than 5 2/3 in any of his three starts since then.

|by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com|
|(7/19/15) Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner only needed to go five innings to earn his 10th win of the season during Sunday's 2-1 win over the Diamondbacks.
Bumgarner allowed one run on four hits over five innings of work to earn the win. Bumgarner struck out three batters and walked one. He is now 10-5 with a 3.27 ERA.

Giants shuffle rotation, Ryan Vogelsong will head to bullpen
|by Ruben Palacios | Staff Writer|
|(7/16/15) The Giants will shuffle their rotation coming out of the All-Star break, according to CSN Bay Area.
The Giants will go with Matt Cain, Jake Peavy, Madison Bumgarner, Tim Hudson and Chris Heston once they return to the field. This leaves starting pitcher Ryan Vogelsong as the odd man out in the rotation, which will push him into the bullpen.
Vogelsong (6-6) has a 4.23 ERA with 70 strikeouts and 42 walks in 95 2/3 innings this season.
Giants set rotation for weekend series in Arizona
|by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com|
|(7/16/15) The Giants have announced their rotation plans for the first series coming out of the All-Star break. Matt Cain will start on Friday against the Diamondbacks in Arizona. Then Jake Peavy will go on Saturday, with 2015 All-Star Madison Bumgarner wrapping up the series on Sunday.
|2014 Summary: Madison Bumgarner was the clear ace of the Giants rotation in 2014, winning 18 games and posting his second straight season with a sub-3.00 ERA and sub-1.10 WHIP. It was the first time that the lefty recorded more than a strikeout per inning (219 Ks in 217 1/3 innings, 9.1 K/9) and walked fewer than two batters per nine innings (43 walks, 1.8 BB/9).|
Playing time status: Bumgarner has thrown at least 200 innings in each of the last four seasons, and he is one of the safer bets to do so again in 2015.
2015 Outlook: It would be an upset if Bumgarner were among the very top earners of Fantasy points, as he isn't quite an innings-eater on the David Price or Adam Wainwright level or an elite-level strikeout producer like Max Scherzer. However, he is good enough at every aspect of the game to be worth targeting as your Fantasy ace in the early rounds.
