by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(9/20/14) Dodgers pitcher Brian Wilson was hung with a loss Saturday, allowing two earned runs on three hits in two-thirds of an inning in his team's 8-7 defeat against the Cubs.

Tasked with protecting a one-run lead in the eighth inning, Wilson (2-4) surrendered a two-run home run with one out to put the Dodgers behind for good in a game they led 7-2 in the middle of the seventh. Wilson hadn't surrendered an earned run in more than a month heading into Saturday's game. He owns a 4.86 ERA and 54:28 K:BB ratio in 46 1/3 innings.

Wilson permitted a run-scoring single to David Murphy and a two-run single to Mike Aviles in the eighth to cough up the lead. He was charged with three runs on two hits and three walks while striking out one in just one-third of an inning. He owns a 5.52 ERA and a 1.88 WHIP over 29 1/3 innings.
Brian Wilson gets rare save with closer unavailable
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(6/26/14) With Kenley Jansen unavailable Wednesday against the Royals, the Dodgers turned to Brian Wilson to pick up his first save since April, 2012.

Wilson closed out a 5-4 win, but not before the Royals made it interesting. He allowed a one-out single, and nearly allowed the Royals to tie it, but first baseman Scott Van Slyke snared a line drive to induce a game-ending double play.

Wilson struck out one batter on 17 pitches for his first save of the season. He lowered his ERA to 5.13 with the outing, and has not allowed a run in his last six appearances.

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(4/25/14) Dodgers reliever Brian Wilson told reporters his arm feel strong and that he needs "more repetitions to get locked in," according to MLB.com on Friday.

Wilson, coming back from nerve inflammation in his right elbow, allowed four runs in one-third of an inning Thursday against Philadelphia. He owns a whopping 15.75 ERA and a 3.00 WHIP over his first four innings pitched.

"I need to get to the point where everything is in sync," Wilson said. "I know what I'm capable of doing when everything's in sync. I just need to get there."
