Raptors' Serge Ibaka: Scores 18 in return from suspension

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/25/17) Ibaka collected 18 points (8-16 FG, 2-2 3Pt), eight rebounds and one assist across 32 minutes during Saturday's 94-86 victory over the Mavericks.

Ibaka's solid stretch of games now extends to four, as the big man was averaging 16.3 points (52.6 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from three) and 6.7 rebounds across just 28.0 minutes per game in his three appearances prior to Saturday. Ibaka is the Raptors' second leading scorer with Kyle Lowry (wrist) out, and should continue to be a focal point of the offense even when Lowry returns.

Raptors' Serge Ibaka: Rejoins starting five Saturday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/25/17) Ibaka rejoin the starting five for Saturday's matchup against the Mavericks after serving his one game suspension.

As expected, Ibaka will slide right back into the power forward slot following his one game suspension, which he served Thursday against the Heat. In the month of March, Ibaka is averaging 13.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks across 30.5 minutes per contest.

Raptors' Serge Ibaka: Receives one-game suspension

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/22/17) Ibaka has been suspended for Thursday's game against the Heat, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Ibaka was ejected from Tuesday's game against the Bulls after briefly tangling up with Robin Lopez and subsequently throwing a few punches. The league has brought down a one-game suspension for both players, which Ibaka is set to serve on Thursday. He's fully expected to rejoin the starting lineup come Saturday's matchup with the Mavericks, but in the meantime, Patrick Patterson and Lucas Nogueira should get more run at the power forward spot, while Pascal Siakam was recently recalled from the D-League and could rejoin the rotation.

Raptors' Serge Ibaka: Could face suspension

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/22/17) Ibaka could face a suspension following his ejection from Tuesday's game against the Bulls.

In the third quarter, Ibaka was involved in a brief melee with Robin Lopez, in which both players threw noticeable punches. While neither punch actually landed, the league does take intent into account, and it's expected that Ibaka will be hit with a suspension sometime Wednesday. The Raptors have recalled Pascal Siakam from the D-League, perhaps in preparation for an Ibaka absence Thursday against Miami.

Raptors' Serge Ibaka: Ejected from Tuesday's OT win

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/21/17) Ibaka scored 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt) while adding six rebounds and an assist in 26 minutes before being ejected from Tuesday's 122-120 overtime win over the Bulls.

He got into a brief fistfight with Robin Lopez in the third quarter that got both players sent to the showers, and while the ejections might have been a net loss for the Raptors from a talent perspective they lit a fire under the team that inspired them to overcome a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit to send the game to extra time. Since failing to score a point against Dallas a little over a week ago Ibaka seems to have found his comfort zone on offense, averaging 16.3 points, 6.7 boards and 2.3 three-pointers in his last three games.
