Spurs' Danny Green: Hits 10 points Tuesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/22/17) Green supplied 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 32 minutes in a 100-93 win over the Timberwolves on Tuesday.

It was only Green's third double-digit scoring outing in his last 15 games, as his tanking field-goal percentage has made offense difficult to come by. Green is shooting just 33.3 percent during that span and won't make for a strong lineup option in most deeper leagues until he regains his touch.

Spurs' Danny Green: Efficient shooting Thursday vs. Thunder

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/10/17) Green accumulated nine points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three assists, one rebound, one steal, and one block across 28 minutes during Thursday's 102-92 loss to the Thunder.

Green has hit six of his last 12 three-point attempts, which is a massive improvement over the 25.0 percent he was knocking down in the nine games prior to Wednesday's contest against the Kings. Despite the occasional shooting slump, Green is likely performing how fantasy owners expected him to -- dropping 7.5 points on 39.5 percent shooting from long range, 3.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.8 blocks across 27.1 minutes per game. His fantasy value is unlikely to fluctuate any time during the remainder of the season.

Spurs' Danny Green: Goes 2-of-13 from field Sunday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(2/13/17) Green was held to six points (2-13 FG, 2-10 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 34 minutes in a 94-90 loss to the Knicks on Sunday.

Green entered Sunday with a season-best three-game streak of double-digit scoring production, but he struggled to find any rhythm against the Knicks, resulting in a disappointing outing. The veteran shooting guard is still one of the top marksmen in the league with a 40.6 percent mark from three-point range on the season, so while he should rediscover his touch before long, don't count on Green to regularly rain in the points. He's only putting up 6.6 field-goal attempts per game, his fewest since 2010-11.

Spurs' Danny Green: Misses all eight three-point attempts Tuesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/25/17) Green recorded four points (2-12 FG, 0-8 3Pt), seven rebounds, four blocks, two assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 108-106 win over the Raptors.

Green had his worst shooting performance of the season, failing to hit any of his eight shots from behind the arc and hitting an abysmal 16.7 percent from the field. However, the 29-year-old actually had a strong game, shooting aside, as he filled out the stat sheet and matched season highs in both rebounds and blocks. Green continues to produce consistent numbers on the whole and is averaging 7.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks in 26.4 minutes this season.

Spurs' Danny Green: Scores 14 points Tuesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/11/17) Green scored 14 points (5-12 FG, 4-9 3Pt), grabbed three rebounds and blocked one shot in 26 minutes during Tuesday's 109-107 loss to the Bucks.

With Lamarcus Aldridge sitting out with the flu and Manu Ginobili going 1-for-6 from the floor, the Spurs were forced to rely on Green for additional scoring. The 29-year-old matched a season-high 12 shots from the field and hit four or more three-pointers for the fourth time this season. While double-digit scoring performances are few and far between, Green has been quite reliable from three and is currently shooting a career-high 45.7 percent from beyond the arc.
