Jerebko starting to see some run : Pistons forward Jonas Jerebko was unable to take advantage of his increased run during Friday's contest against the Hornets. Jerebko logged 18 minutes in the 100-95 defeat, but finished with just four points on 2 of 4 shooting from the field. He also added three rebounds and one block to his stat line.

| Fantasy Analysis |
Jerebko has once again been the forgotten man in Detroit this season as he didn't really see much of the court during December and January. However, injuries have forced the 26-year-old back into action of late as he is averaging 20-plus minutes over his last six games. However, he is putting up just 6.6 points and 3.6 rebounds over that same stretch, making him a player worth avoiding at this point in the season.

Green steps up for Celtics in playoff-clinching win
Jeff Green scored 34 points, including a 3-pointer with 45 seconds left to snap Boston's two-minute scoring drought, and the Celtics clinched a playoff berth by beating the Detroit Pistons 98-93 on Wednesday night.

Monroe, Calderon help Pistons end three-game slide
Greg Monroe scored 24 points, Jose Calderon had 19 points and nine assists against his former team, and the Detroit Pistons snapped a three-game losing streak by beating the Toronto Raptors 108-98 on Monday night.

| Jonas Jerebko's numbers actually took a step back in 2011-12 as he started just 13 of 64 games and averaged 8.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and half a 3-pointer per game. All those figures are lower than what he put up as a rookie with Detroit the year prior. The 25-year-old Swede could be in for a nice bounce-back year this season under coach Lawrence Frank, however, as he is the likely candidate to take over the starting power forward spot with Jason Maxiell coming off the bench. Should that be the case, Jerebko would become a worthy Fantasy forward in deeper formats. (Updated 8/28/12) |
