Raptors' Patrick Patterson: Hot from distance Saturday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/25/17) Patterson provided 14 points (5-6 FG, 4-4 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes during Saturday's 94-86 victory over the Mavericks.

With DeMarre Carroll (back) out, Patterson filled in well, showing out for his best scoring outburst since he collected 15 points Dec. 26 the Trail Blazers. Despite playing 20.8 minutes per game March, Patterson doesn't provide much fantasy value across the board, averaging just 5.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while knocking down 38.6 percent of his looks over the past 12 outings.

Raptors' Patrick Patterson: Provides 11 points, seven boards Monday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/14/17) Patterson submitted 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist across 21 minutes in a 100-78 win over the Mavericks on Monday.

It was Patterson's best performance in the Raptors' 10 games since the All-Star break, which speaks to the sizable role reduction he's had to deal with following the acquisition of Serge Ibaka. So long as Ibaka is healthy, Patterson will have to settle for about 17-to-25 minutes off the bench in most games, which isn't enough run for him to consistently turn in double-digit scoring totals.

Raptors' Patrick Patterson: Will play Friday vs. Celtics

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(2/24/17) Patterson (knee) will play during Friday's game against the Celtics, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.

Patterson has missed the past six games due to a knee bruise, but is now recovered enough to play in Friday's game. That being said, his fantasy value has likely dropped, as he'll serve as the primary backup to newly acquired big man Serge Ibaka.

Raptors' Patrick Patterson: Expects to play Friday vs. Celtics

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(2/22/17) Patterson (knee) took part in a full practice Wednesday and is expected to play in Friday's game against the Celtics, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.

Patterson missed the last six games prior to the All-Star break, but with an additional week off to get back to full strength, he's finally feeling good enough to make a return to the court. However, after the Raptors acquired Serge Ibaka in a trade with the Magic earlier this month, Patterson is expected to see a smaller role moving forward as he settles into a backup role behind Ibaka. That should afford him minutes in the upper teens or low 20's in minutes, which restricts his value to deeper leagues.

Raptors' Patrick Patterson: Ruled out Wednesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(2/15/17) Patterson (knee) will not play Wednesday against the Hornets.

Patterson will remain out for the sixth consecutive game, as the Raptors won't take any chances with the All-Star break on tap. With more than a week of extra rest, expect Patterson to return to action after the break. Newly acquired Serge Ibaka will also not play for Toronto, so Pascal Siakam and Jakob Poeltl should pick up some extra minutes, but neither player is an appealing DFS option.
