Ekpe Udoh: Agrees to two-year deal to remain in Turkey

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(7/17/16) Udoh agreed last week to re-sign with Turkish club Fenerbahce Ulker on a two-year contract, international basketball writer David Pick reports.

Udoh, a former lottery pick who last appeared in the NBA in 2014-15, was said to be entertaining the idea of heading back to the league following a successful season in Turkey where he averaged 12.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks across 27.8 minutes per game, cementing himself as one of the top big men in the Euroleague. While NBA teams were likely interested in signing him, Udoh probably couldn't get close to the guaranteed money he received from Fenerbahce, who will reportedly make him the richest American player outside the NBA. The 29-year-old's contract could include an NBA out clause, so the possibility of a return to North America might not be over quite yet.

Ekpe Udoh: Hopes to return to NBA

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(6/28/16) Udoh is hopeful to return to the NBA during the 2016-17 season, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.

After spending the 2014-15 campaign with the Clippers, Udoh decided to head overseas this past summer, inking a contract with Turkish power Fenerbahce Istanbul. He ended up leading Fenerbahce to a league championship and averaged 11.9 points and 5.8 rebounds in 27.3 minutes per game while setting the Euroleague single-season record for blocks. Now 29, Udoh believes that during the year abroad, he's molded himself into a more modern NBA forward, stating that he's more mobile than before after trimming his weight to 240 weights and now able to guard any position. It's uncertain whether NBA clubs agree with Udoh's assessment, but the big man said that he's set a deadline of early July to decide whether he'll accept an offer to return to the league or remain overseas.

Clippers sign Chris Douglas-Roberts, Ekpe Udoh

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(9/6/14) The Clippers have signed power forward Ekpe Udoh and guard Chris Douglas-Roberts Wednesday. Both players signed a minimum contract worth approximately over $1 million.

Udoh averaged 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in 42 games last season for Milwaukee. Douglas-Roberts averaged 6.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 49 games with Charlotte last season.

Ekpe Udoh sits out final game

by Chris Towers | Fantasy Writer
(4/16/14) Bucks forward Ekpe Udoh did not take the floor for the seventh game in a row Wednesday, in the team's season finale against the Hawks. Udoh was a DNP Coach's Decision yet again, as he fell out of the rotation over the season's final few weeks.

Udoh struggled to play through knee issues for stretches this season, and had trouble earning consistent playing time. He finished the season averaging 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in 42 games played.

Ekpe Udoh sits out sixth straight game

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(4/14/14) Bucks forward Ekpe Udoh didn't make it out of the bench Monday night against Toronto due to knee and ankle issues.

Udoh has missed six games in a row. He is averaging 3.7 points and 3.9 rebounds per game this season. His final chance to play this season will come Wednesday against Atlanta.
