Fields may be limited throughout the rest of the regular season for the Raptors. He had played just 14.8 minutes per game over his previous four contests and has minimal Fantasy value, when healthy.

| For the first time in his career, Landry Fields is entering his third year in the league with a new team. The Raptors signed him to a three-year, $20 million deal, which the Knicks failed to match. Fields is coming off one of his most disappointing seasons in 2011-2012, shooting just 46 percent from the field while averaging 8.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, both of which were worse than his rookie season. Worse than that, his shooting fell off completely, as he hit just 25.6 percent of his attempts from three-point range, after nailing 39.3 percent as a rookie. The Raptors are hoping that he will fall somewhere between the two totals, at the very least. Fields should not be targeted as a starter on Draft Day, leaving him for the later rounds as a reserve in most formats. (Updated 10/14/12) |
