Suns' Tyson Chandler: Turns in second double-double of season in Sunday's loss

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/27/16) Chandler scored 10 points (5-6 FG) while adding 15 rebounds and two blocks in 38 minutes during the Suns' 120-114 loss to the Nuggets on Sunday.

After returning from an eight-game absence due to personal reasons and playing 11 minutes off the bench in Friday's loss to the Timberwolves, Chandler was moved into the starting lineup on Sunday in place of Alex Len. However, Len also played 29 minutes, as coach Earl Watson opted to pair the two big men together in an effort to match up with Denver's size down low. This was just the second time through 10 games that Chandler has double-doubled or scored 10 points or more, but the veteran center is grabbing 12.0 rebounds per game. With that being said, he is not producing much else besides boards, with meager averages of 7.3 points, 0.5 blocks, 0.4 assists, and 0.4 steals in 27.1 minutes per night.

Suns' Tyson Chandler: Will start Sunday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/27/16) Chandler will start Sunday against the Nuggets, Paul Coro of AZCentral.com reports.

After missing eight games for personal reasons, Chandler return to the court in Friday's loss to the Timberwolves, playing 11 minutes off the bench. Now back in the swing of things, the veteran gets the starting nod over Alex Len. Look for head coach Earl Watson to closely monitor Chandler's minutes as he continues to get worked back into the fold.

Suns' Tyson Chandler: Plays 11 minutes off bench in return

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/26/16) Chandler came off the bench and produced six points (3-3 FG) and seven rebounds over 11 minutes in Friday's 98-85 loss to the Timberwolves.

Chandler was playing for just the second time in 10 games following the passing of his mother, so coach Earl Watson decided to stick with Alex Len as his starting center and limit the veteran's workload as he looks to regain conditioning. The 34-year-old look good during his light run, so he should see his playing time grow in the games to come while pushing Len back to the bench before long.

Suns' Tyson Chandler: Rejoins team, will play Friday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/25/16) Chandler (personal) has rejoined the Suns and is expected to be available for Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic reports.

After missing four games following the death of his mother earlier this month, Chandler returned to start in a Nov. 16 game against the Nuggets, but went on bereavement leave during the Suns' subsequent four games while tending to his mother's funeral arrangements. Though Chandler is now back with the team, he's not guaranteed to take the starting center role back from Alex Len on Friday, as his lack of practice time of late could prompt the coaching staff to limit his minutes. It shouldn't take long for Chandler to get reacclimated, but it may take a few games before the Suns are comfortable handing him 30-minute workloads.

Suns' Tyson Chandler: Ruled out for Wednesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/22/16) Chandler (personal) will remain away from the team for Wednesday's outing versus the Magic, Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Chandler continues to be on personal leave following the death of his mother and he'll miss a fourth straight game on Wednesday. Alex Len is slated to draw another start at center in his place and could be on another double-double watch after posting 11 points and 10 rebounds on Monday. Alan Williams will likely have a slightly bigger role off the bench as well.
