(4/4/13) With Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah dealing with injuries, the Bulls have been forced to rely on Carlos Boozer heavily recently. Boozer was up for the task Thursday against the Nets, as he put up a huge double-double in a come from behind victory. Boozer led the team with 29 points and 18 rebound, while shooting 12 of 22 from the field. He added three assists and turned the ball over three times, in a 92-90 win.
|Much maligned though he is by the Bulls' fanbase, Carlos Boozer has remained a remarkably consistent contributor over three seasons in Chicago. He averaged 16.2 points and 9.2 rebounds in just 32.2 minutes per game last season, and concerns about him falling out of favor in Chicago have thus far not come to fruition. He has missed just three games over the last two seasons, and is showing no signs of slowing down despite turning 32 in November. He is not flashy, by Boozer's steady reliability makes him a solid Fantasy option, worthy of targeting in the early rounds on Draft Day.
