|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(1/31/15) Wizards coach Randy Wittman said small forward Paul Pierce and center Nene are available for Saturday's game against the Raptors, the Washington Post reports.
Pierce missed Tuesday's game with a toe injury before returning Wednesday, but he was absent from Friday's practice, leaving his availability against the Raptors in doubt. Nene was unable to play Wednesday due to a sore right foot.
The Wizards are 5-point home favorites against the Raptors Saturday.

|by R.J. White | CBSSports.com|
|(1/28/15) Wizards shooting guard Martell Webster (knee) is available for Wednesday's game against the Suns, while power forward Nene (foot) has been ruled out, the team announced.
Webster suffered a knee injury in Tuesday's win over the Lakers and did not return, playing just six minutes and scoring five points. Nene will be missing his first game since Dec. 8 because of a sore right foot.
The Wizards are 6 1/2-point underdogs in Phoenix Wednesday.

|(1/7/15) Wizards forward Nene hit the 20-point mark for the third time this season, scoring 20 on 8-of-13 shooting in Wednesday's win over the Knicks. Nene grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists.
He'll take on the Bulls on Friday.

|(1/2/15) Wizards center Nene will play against the Thunder on Friday.
Nene left Tuesday's game with an ankle injury, and missed Thursday's practice due to the issue. Despite that, he'll attempt to play through the pain on Friday. Nene is averaging 9.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
Wizards' Nene says he's playing Friday against the Thunder
|by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com|
|(1/2/15) Wizards forward Nene told reporters at shootaround he will play Friday against the Thunder. Nene has been dealing with an ankle injury which kept him from practicing Thursday. He is currently considered questionable for the matchup.
He is averaging 9.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 24 games this season.
The Wizards are 6 1/2-point underdogs Friday against Oklahoma City.
|Though injuries remain a constant issue, Nene put together his best season since 2010-11 last season. He missed 29 games overall, but he was a force when healthy, averaging 14.2 points per game on 50.3 percent shooting, while adding 5.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists. Nene finished 33rd among forwards in Fantasy scoring per game, and could reach that peak again next season as a key part of the Wizards' core. Unfortunately, with his injury concerns, Fantasy owners simply cannot take the risk of relying on Nene as a starter. Consider targeting him after the middle rounds on Draft Day, but have some insurance available.
