Rockets' Nene Hilario: Will come off the bench Sunday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/15/17) Updating a previous report, Hilario will come off the bench on Sunday against the Nets, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The Rockets were poised to start Hilario in order to match up better with Brook Lopez of the Nets, but Lopez is now getting the night off for rest, so Montrezl Harrell will remain in the starting lineup at center. Harrell has more fantasy value of the two and Hilario will likely be limited to minutes in the low-20's at best, which further restricts his potential.

Rockets' Nene Hilario: Expects to start at center Sunday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/15/17) Hilario is expected to start at center for Sunday's game against the Nets, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Hilario and Montrezl Harrell continue to rotate as the team's starting center, as coach Mike D'Antoni switches it up depending on the center matchup. With Brook Lopez of the Nets on the other side Sunday, the Rockets with go with the bigger Hilario to match up with his strength, although Harrell is still expected to see the bigger workload of the Rockets' two centers. Adding on to that, the Rockets recently announced that they expect to have Clint Capela (foot) back on Tuesday or Wednesday, so once that happens, Hilario will likely see his role decrease.

Rockets' Nene Hilario: Will head back to bench Tuesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/10/17) Hilario will return to the bench for Tuesday's matchup with the Hornets, Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com reports.

Hilario and Montrezl Harrell continue to rotate in and out of the starting lineup, as coach Mike D'Antoni likes to change it up depending on the center matchup. It's somewhat of a surprising move with Harrell set to go against the much larger Roy Hibbert, but in any case, Hilario will still be relegated to a bench role. Harrell continues to be the Rockets' center to own in fantasy leagues, as Hilario's minutes and upside remain limited compared to the much younger and more athletic Harrell.

Rockets' Nene Hilario: Will start at center Sunday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/8/17) Hilario will start at center for Friday's game against the Magic, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Coach Mike D'Antoni wants to match Hilario with the Raptors' Jonas Valanciunas at center, so he'll jump into the starting lineup Sunday. However, the fact that the Rockets play three games in the next four nights and Hilario is coming off his biggest workload over the team's last 13 games, likely means Montrezl Harrell will still outpace him in minutes despite coming off the bench.

Rockets' Nene Hilario: Returns to bench Friday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(1/6/17) Hilario will return to the a reserve role for Friday's game against the Magic, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Montrezl Harrell had been getting most of the run in the starting unit since Clint Capella got injured, but Hilario got the start in Thursday's win over the Thunder. It appears that decision may have been matchup based, given Hilario's quick return to the bench. Harrell figures to continue getting a majority of the starts going forward, but Hilario could still be in the mix depending on the matchup.
