| Fantasy Analysis |
Frye did admit there is a chance he'll never be able to take the court again, but he's already planning on hitting the road with the Suns in March and April to get back in the swing of traveling. Frye has two years left on his contract and the Suns would love him back. We'll let you know about any relevant Fantasy value when it comes up but he's still not returning this year. (Updated 2/9/13). |
| Channing Frye took a step back in his production last season, posting 10.5 points per game on 41.6 percent shooting from the field, and while he remained healthy during the season, a subluxation and dislocation of his right shoulder in the final week of the season required offseason surgery. He is expected to be ready for the beginning of the regular season, but the Suns offseason moves -- the loss of Steve Nash, as well as the additions of Michael Beasley and Luis Scola -- will likely cost Frye open looks as well as playing time. Frye brings a strong balance of shooting and rebounding to the table, but he may not play enough to be more than a low-end Fantasy option, though he is worth starting in Rotisserie formats.
