Pacers' C.J. Miles: Starting in Game 3

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/20/17) Miles will start at shooting guard in Thursday's Game 3 against the Cavaliers, Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports reports.

Miles scored nine points while also recording two rebounds, an assist, and two steals in 16 minutes during Monday's Game 2 loss to Cleveland. He'll be starting in place of Monta Ellis, who scored just two points in 25 minutes in Monday's game. Miles will likely see a minutes increase while in the starting lineup. It's unclear if he'll remain in the starting lineup for Game 4 on Sunday as well.

Pacers' C.J. Miles: Explodes for 27 points in double-overtime loss

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/2/17) Miles exploded for 27 points (8-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 6-6 FT) to go along with six rebounds, two assists and one steal across 34 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 135-130 double-overtime loss to the Cavaliers.

Miles' aggressiveness was necessary as Indiana kept pace with a Cleveland squad that is nearing full strength, and his success shooting the ball, especially from beyond the arc, helped him achieve a new season high in scoring. His run in the starting lineup appears over as Monta Ellis has started the last five games, but Miles is still averaging 14.6 points and 2.6 treys per game during that span.

Pacers' C.J. Miles: Will return to bench role Sunday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/26/17) Miles will come off the bench for Sunday's game against the 76ers.

Coach Nate McMillan is looking to speed up the game flow Sunday, so he's opted to go with Monta Ellis over Miles as the team's starting shooting guard. It remains to be seen if this is just a one-game experiment or if this will be a lineup used more frequently as the season comes to a close, but either way, it likely means a few less minutes for Miles.

Pacers' C.J. Miles: Drains four three-pointers in loss to Hornets

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/6/17) Miles scored 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt) while adding four rebounds and four assists over the course of 33 minutes on the floor during Monday's 100-88 loss to the Hornets.

Miles shot the ball effectively, especially from downtown, and he was the only Pacer besides Paul George to top 12 points in this contest. He has seen spotty playing time on some occasions despite earning a spot in the starting lineup, but he has seen at least 28 minutes per game in each of the last three and has responded with averages of 16 points, five rebounds and 3.7 made three-pointers per game.

Pacers' C.J. Miles: Provides four treys in loss

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/2/17) Miles posted 19 points (7-15 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and 6 rebounds across 27 minutes in Wednesday's 100-99 loss to the Spurs.

Miles showed why he's earned a spot in Indiana's starting lineup as he shot well from the field and poured in four triples on Wednesday. He's been averaging 46.7 percent from beyond the arc in the month of February, and now has 14 threes over the past four games. Although we may see a bit less from Miles as Thaddeus Young gets back to full speed and reassumes more production in the offense, Miles will still see his share of minutes and is definitely worth a look in deeper leagues.
