07/23/2014 13:39 2014 Draft Prep: 12-team, Head-to-Head mock
How did our first "official" 12-team mock draft play out? Some new names found their way into the first round while some proven vets slipped longer than expected. Check out the results.
Phil Dawson was always a good Fantasy kicker, but he turned into a great one in 2013 going from the Browns to the 49ers. The biggest difference was the uptick in extra points as Dawson made a career-high 44. He once had 43 in 2007, but that was his only other year with more than 35. Dawson also made a career-best 32 of 36 field goals, and he connected on four field goals of 50-plus yards. He finished as the No. 7 Fantasy kicker, four points shy of No. 3 Justin Tucker, and he should have another outstanding season. Plan on drafting Dawson as one of the top kickers with a last-round pick in all leagues.
