by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com (1/27/14) Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey, who just signed a seven-year, $22.5 million deal, said the contract won't put extra pressure on him.
“I don’t think it changes too much,” Bailey told ESPN.com. “You’re only as good as your last kick. That’s the nature of the league. You have to bring your ‘A’ game every day to practice, to the game, even off the field. You’ve got to do the right things. I don’t think it’ll have too much of an impact. I think I take pride on being mentally strong enough to put that on the back burner and focus on the task at hand.”
Bailey hit 28 of 30 field goals this season, including 6 of 7 from 50-plus yards.

02/28/2014 11:09 Dallas Cowboys 2014 offseason preview
With the 2013 season officially in the books the Eye on Football staff is looking ahead to the offseason for all 32 NFL teams. Next up: the Dallas Cowboys.
Dan Bailey has been the Cowboys kicker for the past two seasons, and he's been a top-12 Fantasy kicker both times. He was No. 7 in Fantasy points in 2011 with 139, and even though his production dropped last year to 130 points, he finished at No. 12. Last year, Bailey made 29 of 31 field goals and all 37 extra points. He had three 50-yard field goals, and he should remain productive again. Bailey has all the qualities you look for in a Fantasy kicker: good offense, indoor stadium and accuracy. Plan on drafting him with a last-round pick. (Updated 4/26/13)
