Cardinals bring in Bowles as DC: Arizona continued its offseason alterations Saturday and agreed to terms with Todd Bowles to become the team's defensive coordinator, CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports. Bowles, who served as the Eagles' defensive coordinator after Juan Castillo was fired midway through the past season, replaces Ray Horton on the Cardinals' sideline. During its 5-11 campaign, Arizona ranked fifth in the NFL against the pass (200.8 yards allowed per game), but just 28th defending the run (137.0 yards allowed).

Fantasy Analysis
Bowles, who was expected to follow Bruce Arians to Arizona after he was named head coach earlier this week, will be tasked with improving the team's run defense that struggled mightily after the first month of the season. After a four-game winning streak to open the season, the Cardinals allowed opponents to rush for at least 125 yards in seven of their remaining 12 games while permitting 11 touchdowns on the ground. Arizona does boast a talented secondary that recorded 22 interceptions last season, but will be viewed as a low-end DST option in Fantasy heading into the 2013 campaign.
