by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (12/8/13) Jets tight end Kellen Winslow had one of his better performances this season during a 37-27 win Week 14 vs. Oakland. Winslow finished with three catches for a team-high 61 yards, which was his third-highest yardage output this season.
Winslow got involved early, as quarterback Geno Smith targeted the veteran tight end on a 23-yard pass into the end zone on the first drive. Unfortunately, Smith missed an open Winslow because of a terrible pass.
Winslow was targeted six times, which was the second most on the team behind Jeremy Kerley's seven targets. The Jets are back in action Week 15 at Carolina.

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com (12/5/13) Jets tight end Kellen Winslow (knee) practiced Thursday after missing the Wednesday session and should be ready to roll Sunday against Oakland.

Frustrated Kellen Winslow catches three balls
by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com (12/1/13) Jets tight end Kellen Winslow finished second on the team in receiving in Week 13, but he still complained about his played after the 23-3 loss to the Dolphins.
Winslow was featured more heavily than fellow tight end Jeff Cumberland in the game, finishing with three catches for 26 yards. After the game, he told Newsday he isn't sure why he doesn't play more.
"When they throw it, I catch it," Winslow said. "I don't know."
Winslow has caught 23 of 32 passes thrown his way this season, for 246 yards. The Jets face the Raiders in Week 14.
Kellen Winslow landed a spot on the Jets roster after a strong tryout in June. Once a standout Fantasy tight end, Winslow appeared in one game with New England in Week 3. He had one catch for 12 yards on two targets before being granted his release because he wasn't healthy. Now he says he's fine but his knees have been worked on for years and any minor tweak could send him to the bench. Winslow isn't worth drafting even if he appears to be a decent option after training camp with Gang Green. (Updated 6/17/13)
