Sharks' Joe Pavelski: Opens scoring in clincher

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/26/16) Pavelski opened the scoring with his 13th goal of the playoffs in San Jose's series-clinching 5-2 win over the Blues on Wednesday.

Pavelski has been a leading figure in San Jose's journey to the franchise's first Stanley Cup Finals appearance, following up a 38-goal regular season with 13 more in 18 postseason games. Expect the Sharks captain to continue to lead by example in the next round, as he comes in hot with four goals in the last three games.

Sharks' Joe Pavelski: Continues playoff dominance in Game 5 win

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/23/16) Pavelski put the Sharks on his back Monday, scoring two goals -- including the game-winner -- and adding an assist in a 6-3 win over the Blues in Game 5.

Pavelski has recorded a point in all five games against St. Louis, a span that's featured three goals and five assists. The Wisconsin native now sits atop the playoff goal perch with 12, and is tied for the most points (21) with teammate Logan Couture -- who grabbed an assist Monday. With just one win left between the Sharks and the Stanley Cup Finals, expect Team Teal's red-bearded captain to remain front and center as they look to close out the Blues on Wednesday.

Sharks' Joe Pavelski: Gets NHL-leading 10th goal in postseason

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/21/16) Pavelski scored his NHL-leading 10th postseason goal in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Blues.

Little Joe is rolling on a five-game, six-point streak (two goals, four assists) and sits tied for second in scoring with 18 points. The series is now knotted at twos and Pavelski will be instrumental in the Sharks' efforts to get to their first Cup.

Sharks' Joe Pavelski: Earns two helpers in crucial Game 3 win

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/19/16) Pavelski picked up a pair of helpers, a plus-2 rating and two hits during Thursday's 3-0 victory over St. Louis in Game 3.

Pavelski reached the scoresheet in each of the first two games of the series, but it was only a matter of time before the star put up a multi-point outing (his fifth of the playoffs). The 31-year-old continues to feast, totaling nine markers and eight apples in 15 contests. The top line dominated Thursday, and if that continues into Game 4, the Wisconsin native will be at the dinner table, again.

Sharks' Joe Pavelski: Power-play goal sparks scoring in Game 7

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/12/16) Pavelski notched a power-play goal on three shots during Thursday's 5-0 win over the Predators in Game 7.

Pavelski has been on a mission during the playoffs, totaling nine tallies and four helpers in 12 outings. In fact, the Sharks are 8-0 in the postseason when the 31-year-old reaches the scoresheet. The Wisconsin native will be an obvious focal point in the Western Conference Finals, although something tells us the 1997 No. 1 pick relishes the spotlight and will continue to dominate.
