Predators' Shea Weber: Huge defensive effort in Game 4

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/6/16) Weber was a defensive force in Thursday night's 4-3, triple-overtime Game 4 win over the Sharks. He had two PIM, seven blocked shots, and eight hits through a whopping 49:07 of ice time.

Who doesn't love free hockey to pad the fantasy stats? It was a bit disappointing to see Weber fail to land on the scoresheet with so much ice time, but his defensive efforts were off the charts. Weber still has seven points in 11 games this postseason, and remains one of the most dependable options from the blue line. He gives it his all on both ends of the rink.

Predators' Shea Weber: First multi-point outing of postseason

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/3/16) Weber registered a tally and a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Sharks in Game 3.

After a solid series against the Ducks, Weber had gone silent coming into Tuesday's must-win contest. The 30-year-old must have needed to sleep in the comfort of his own bed, as the blueliner awoke at home and notched his first multi-point outing of the playoffs. Weber is now at three markers and four apples to date, and Nashville will need even more to tie the series Thursday.

Predators' Shea Weber: Three points in last four games

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/23/16) Weber picked up his third point of the postseason in Saturday's Game 5, 5-2 loss to Anaheim.

Weber is simply continuing his strong regular season, but the Preds need offence from other parts of the team. Nashville is on the ropes in the series, down 3-2 and will need to pull out all the stops to move on to the second round.

Predators' Shea Weber: Scratched Saturday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/9/16) Weber will not play Saturday night against the Stars, Adam Vingan of The Tennessean reports.

There's nothing wrong with the stud defenseman, and it appears that he and four other Preds regulars are simply getting extra rest in advance of the postseason.

Predators' Shea Weber: Earns goal No. 20 on season

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/7/16) Weber scored his 20th goal of the season on the power play in Thursday's 3-2 overtime victory against the Coyotes.

Weber has reached 20 tallies for the third time in his career. The 30-year-old blueliner is impacting the box score regularly down the stretch, earning points in three straight and tying his longest streak of the season. The veteran continues to make a living off the man advantage, notching 14 goals and 12 apples to date in over three minutes on ice during the power play.
