Pacers' Darren Collison: Provides four points, three assists Monday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(10/9/17) Collison tallied four points (2-4 FG), three assists and two rebounds across 15 minutes during Monday's 107-97 loss to the Pistons.

Collison, who is seemingly in line to be the Pacers' No. 1 point guard, has seemed to gel nicely in his new environment. Across 59 minutes of preseason action, he's put together 18 points, 12 assists, eight steals and eight rebounds. While the team also acquired Cory Joseph in the offseason, who may compete with Collison for the starting job as the season goes on, Collison is likely worth a look in the later rounds of standard fantasy drafts considering he'll be the team's starter for the time being.

Pacers' Darren Collison: On tap for 12-minute stint Monday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(10/9/17) Collison is expected to play about 12 minutes in the Pacers' third preseason contest Monday against the Pistons, Scott Agness of VigilantSports.com reports.

All of Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanvoic, Thaddeus Young and Myles Turner are scheduled to sit out the exhibition for rest purposes, leaving Collison as the only projected opening night starter in the lineup. While those absences should allow Collison to enjoy some healthy usage during his time on the floor, head coach Nate McMillan's stated desire to restrict the veteran's minutes Monday will limit the point guard's upside in daily contests. Collison is coming off a 2016-17 campaign with the Kings in which he averaged 13.2 points, 4.6 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 30.3 minutes per game, and though he'll stick in a starting role after signing with Indiana in July, he could see a downgrade in playing time this season with a highly capable backup in Cory Joseph behind him on the depth chart.

Pacers' Darren Collison: Agreed to sign with Pacers

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(7/3/17) Collison and the Pacers have agreed in principle on a two-year, $20 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The stint will be Collison's second in Indiana, as he played the second and third years of his career with the Pacers. He has spent the previous three with the Kings, averaging 14.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.2 triples across 31.3 minutes per game during that span. He will join a revamped Pacers roster, and figures to have a good chance to grab a starting role in the backcourt along side the recently acquired Victor Oladipo.

Kings' Darren Collison: Will remain out Wednesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/12/17) Collison (head) will not take part in Wednesday's game against the Clippers, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Collison has missed the past two games, one for rest and one for a migraine, and will miss Wednesday's game as a result of his migraine as well. With that, Collison's season will be over, as Wednesday marks the Kings' final game of the year. He will finish averaging 13.2 points, 4.6 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 30.3 minutes per game. In his absence, Langston Galloway and Tyreke Evans will likely handle the bulk of minutes at point guard, as reserve Ty Lawson (rest) will not take part in Wednesday's game either.

Kings' Darren Collison: Sitting out Tuesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(4/11/17) Collison will be held out of action Tuesday against the Suns due to a migraine headache, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The point guard was rested Sunday against the Rockets, and he's apparently developed a migraine Tuesday that will equate to a second straight absence. Consider the 29-year-old questionable for the season finale Wednesday against the Clippers, and expect Garrett Temple and Langston Galloway to pick up increased minutes in his stead Tuesday.
