Jazz's Jonas Jerebko: Rough shooting night off bench

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(10/9/17) Jerebko tallied four points (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 15 minutes Monday in a preseason matchup with the Suns.

Jerebko signed a two year deal with Jazz, providing the with a stretch four to come off the bench. The Swedish forward is coming off a season in which he averaged a career low 3.8 points per game in 15.8 minutes. Jerebko is a better fit with the Jazz, being the teams only stretch four, meaning he could see more playing time this season.

Jazz's Jonas Jerebko: Signs two-year deal with Jazz

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(7/13/17) Jerebko agreed to a two-year, $8.2 million contract with the Jazz on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Jerebko will now likely fill the void of the soon-to-be-departed Boris Diaw, who the Jazz are planning to waive Thursday. Jerebko, like Diaw, has the ability to stretch the floor in the frontcourt, as he's shot at least 35 percent from three in each of his last five seasons. However, even after seven NBA seasons, Jerebko is still unlikely to provide much fantasy value as a depth option in Utah, as he simply is not expected to get enough minutes to be a noteworthy contributor next season.

Celtics' Jonas Jerebko: Escapes bench in Game 3 win

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/22/17) Jerebko efficiently delivered 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one block from 13 minutes in Sunday's 111-108 Game 3 win in Cleveland.

After four straight DNP's, the Swedish Bird has now played in Boston's last two playoff games. He was clutch in the Game 3 win, hitting all his shots, including a quick go-head jumper with 30 seconds remaining in the fourth. The absence of Isaiah Thomas forces coach Brad Stevens to look to his bench for added scoring. Jerebko and his Celtics teammates will look to even the series Tuesday night in Cleveland.

Celtics' Jonas Jerebko: 4th straight DNP from Game 1 loss

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(5/18/17) Jerebko received his fourth consecutive DNP-Coach's Decision from Boston's Game 1 blow out loss to Cleveland.

After averaging 11 minutes during the initial series with Chicago, Jerebko has played in only three of the past eight Celtic playoff games. Coach Brad Stevens may believe that the The Swedish Bird's game is not a good match for these more physical playoff battles. Still, it's surprising to see bench stalwarts Tyler Zeller, Gerald Green and James Young receive minutes while Jerebko rides the pine.

Celtics' Jonas Jerebko: Active and available to play Wednesday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(3/29/17) Jerebko (knee) is active and available to play in Wednesday's game against the Bucks, Jay King of MassLive.com reports.

Jerebko left Tuesday's practice with a sore left knee, but after testing the injury out during pregame warmups, he feels healthy enough to give it a go Wednesday. He'll continue to operate as a reserve in the frontcourt, but likely won't see enough minutes to be deemed fantasy relevant in the majority of leagues.
